Biting stonecrop

0241. Another unrecorded name, to my knowledge at least, is eating stonecrop for Sedum acre. This comes from next door neighbour, who says he has always known it by this name. Although it is very common on the hot dry heathlands around here, he has never eaten it in any manner [West Stow, Suffolk, January 1991].
