Meadow-foam

1.  Meadow-foam:  in Ireland it’s also known as De Valera’s border – probably a pun on the word ‘border’ and an ironic comment on Irish Civil War politics! [e-mail, June 2018].

2.  I call it [meadow-foam] fried-egg plant [Thorncombe, Dorset, June 2013].
