Michaelmas daisy

1. We used to wear Michaelmas daisies once a year to school – Clarendon House Grammar School in Ramsgate [Kent] – for this big service in church during Michaelmas term. You had to wear them, find them from somewhere. I don’t know how or when it started [Balham, London, April 2001].
