Foraging prohibited

Posted on by royvickery |

Sign beside colony of ransoms or wild garlic, Allium ursinum, in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, London, 15 May 2021.  A similar sign was placed beside an extensive colony of three-cornered garlic, A. triquetrum. As this species is seriously invasive, perhaps it would be better to encourage people to forage it, but presumably the authorities think that would confuse people.
