FOTC Pumpkin Parade, 2021

Each year since 2011 the Friends of Tooting Common, in the London Borough of Wandsworth, have been holding a pumpkin parade.  After a gap due to covid in 2020 the event was revived on Sunday 31 October 2021.  On a cold and windy afternoon people brought along pumpkins which were divided into three classes: most artistic, scariest, and funniest.  The general lack of pumpkins throughout London in 2021, the number of entries, which can exceed 70, was much reduced, with less than 25 being displayed.  However, the children’s fancy dress competitions attracted more entries than usual.
