Grave decorations

2014-12-09 13.05.532014-12-09 13.05.442014-12-09 13.06.04Although more and more people ask for money to be donated to charities
rather than spent on funeral wreaths, the practice of decorating graves continues to be widely followed,
particularly in municipal
cemeteries which, unlike churchyards, tend to have few regulations about what can and cannot be put on graves.  Thus urban cemeteries are often bright with grave flowers, some fresh, but most artificial; the grave shown here is exceptional for its elaborate decorations, almost entirely of artificial flowers.
