Holy Thorn update, 1

Posted on by royvickery |

According to the Western Daily Press of 4 April 2012, a new Holy Thorn (Crataegus monogyna ‘Biflora’) has been planted on Wearyall Hill, Glastonbury, next to the tree which was damaged by vandals in December 2011. The new tree is ‘encased … in a metal guard with barbed wire’, and the damaged tree ‘is now recovering’.
