Collecting the folklore and uses of plants

Invisible Food walks in south London

DSC_1000[2]For the last two years or so a group of foragers have met at the Loughborough Centre in Brixton on one Saturday morning a month and explored local green spaces looking for edible wild plants which they bring back to the Centre and prepare for eating.
These events, led by Ceri Buck, encourage local, and other interested, people to get together and share their skills and enthusiasm, improve their knowledge of plants, and discover unexpected green spaces. Although the focus is on edible plants, medicinal and other uses are also explored.
