St Peter’s Italian Church, Clerkenwell Road, in the London Borough of Camden, held its annual Parade in Honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, on the afternoon on Sunday16 July 2023.  This event, first held in the 1880s, possibly 1883, consists of a series of tableaux representing scenes from the life of Christ, carried statues of various saints, and walking groups representing various Italian organisations.  Later in the afternoon The Sagra, an ‘Italian street fête’ takes place in a nearby street.
