Flowers placed on the Kinderstransport memorial, outside Liverpool Street station, City of London, on Holocaust Memorial Day, 27 January 2022.

A plaque on the memorial, installed in 2006, and sponsored by the Association of Jewish Refugees and the Central British Fund for World Jewish Relief, states:

‘In gratitude to the people of Britain for saving the lives of 10,000 unaccompanied mainly Jewish children who fled from Nazi persecution in 1938 and 1939.’
