Collecting the folklore and uses of plants

Plant-lore Archive: April 2018

Posted on by royvickery |

April was a successful month with 27 items of information being received from 27 contributors, so the Archive now contains 7,700 items of information from 2213 contributors.  Thank you everyone!

8784 visits were made to the website, and a record 16 posts added to its blog.  A sample of the edited version of the Folk Flora was received for comment, and images are being selected for its dust jacket.

An enjoyable time was spent at the Folklore Society’s spring conference, on Working Life: Belief, Custom, Ritual, Narrative, held at the Museum of English Rural Life, Reading, from 27 – 29 April.
