August was an active and enjoyable month.  Eight, mostly well attended, walks attracted favourable comments, and various plant-lore events, including three well-dressings were visited.  12 items of information were received from six contributors, bringing the totals to 9258 items from 3232 contributors.  Special thanks to Christine Lewis for the interesting material received following a walk at Prestwood Nature Reserve.

Rather unusually a large number of useful messages were received via the website, to which 15 posts were added.
