Pumpkin prize

The seed company Thompson & Morgan is offering a prize of £10,000 to the grower who produces the world’s biggest pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima).
The world record is currently 826kg (1,818lb), and the British record, grown by Ian and Stuart Paton in Hampshire in 2011, is 684kg (1,504lb).
