Report:  Eleven people turned up to the packed park on a perfect summer’s evening, and spent about 90 minutes wandering around, discussing the 40 or so plants which were found in flower, and sampling some of the edible ones.

Image:  tree mallow, Malva arborea, the fruits of which were sampled, though most people thought the fruits of common mallow, M. sylvestris, tasted better.
