Posted on by royvickery |

10.15 – 11.00 a.m. Great North Wood Plants & their Uses walk, part of the Festival of the Great North Wood, Streatham Common, London Borough of Lambeth; see GNW Festival Programme2

Report: Despite it being the first walk of the day, a good number of people turned up to spend about 45 minutes discussing many of the uses of a range of wild plants.                                                      ‘Thank you for leading your guided walk at last weekend’s Festival of the Great North Wood, it definitely helped make our first face-to-face Festival since 2019 a great success.’

3.00 – 4.00 p.m.  Wild Flower Walk, Mitcham Common, London Borough of Merton.

Report: Although rain threatened about 15 people gathered and spent about 90 minutes examining a variety of  common plants on the Common.  Feedback was generally appreciative: ‘Everybody was very happy and learnt a lot’.

All welcome; for further details see the Events page on this website.
