Southwell’s annual Bramley Apple Festival was held on Saturday 28 October 2023.

As usual the main attraction was a festival of food and drink in the Minster, but unlike 2022 there were no cooking demonstrations and no bramley apples were on sale.  According to a lady on the door late in the afternoon fewer people attended than in previous years.

Other activities took place in the National Trust owned Workhouse and town library, visits to the original bramley apple tree, and apple-themed shop window displays throughout the town.
