St David’s Day, London – 2

Posted on by royvickery |

Wreath  placed  on  the  Cenotaph,  Whitehall, by the London Branch of the Royal Welch Fusiliers Association, presumably to mark St David’s Day.

Photographed 4 March 2020.

Visited the Cenotaph on 1 March 2021, but no similar wreath there, presumably because of Covid restrictions.

In 2022 it was impossible to lay wreaths at the Cenotaph due to roadworks, and no wreath was placed on the Guards Memorial in St James’s Park.

Visited the Cenotaph on 1 March 2023 at about 1 p.m., but no St David’s Day wreaths seen there or at the Guards Memorial.

Updated 1 March 2023.
