Thanks Bruce!

Thank you to Bruce Richardson, who became the 1,800th person to contribute to P-LA while attending an event at the South London Botanical Institute on Sunday 14 June:

‘As a small child (1970s, rural Aberdeenshire) in the hot summer months we would split open the rose rose hips and grind the seeds to use as itching powder.’

Other contributors, at an event in the Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Garden on Saturday 13 June, had similar memories from north-east Ireland in the 1980s, and from Durham in c. 1997.
