World record breaking carrot

According to the¬†Metro of 22 September 2017, ¬†Chris Qualley, aged 34 of Minnesota, has grown the world’s heaviest carrot (Daucus carota), an unsightly root weighing 22.4 lb. ‘It took nine months to grow – just like making a real baby.’
