Oak mistletoe

1.  Mistletoe is cut down out of trees (usually oak [Quercus]), tied up with red ribbon and sold at festivals to hang in houses during the Christmas season.  This is in the Auburn or Grass Valley area of California, from the 1990s through 2000s [Starke, Florida, U.S.A., April 2015].
