Vernal squill [Scilla verna], tuberous oat-grass [Arrhenatherum elatius var. bulbosum], silverweed, marsh woundwort [Stachys palustris] and very small potatoes – all known as grice mooriks; a grice is a pig, and a moorik is an edible root [Lerwick, Shetland, March 1994].
