Report: Despite it being the first walk of the day, a good number of people turned up to spend about 45 minutes discussing many of the uses of a range of wild plants. ‘Thank you for leading your guided walk at last weekend’s Festival of the Great North Wood, it definitely helped make our first face-to-face Festival since 2019 a great success.’
3.00 – 4.00 p.m. Wild Flower Walk, Mitcham Common, London Borough of Merton.
Report: Although rain threatened about 15 people gathered and spent about 90 minutes examining a variety of common plants on the Common. Feedback was generally appreciative: ‘Everybody was very happy and learnt a lot’.
