Ginger

1. Ginger infusions are a cure-all for many complaints, including liver problems, stomach aches, flu [Natural History Museum, London, August 2004].

2. For diarrhoea. also for nausea: powdered ginger – minute amount on the end of a teaspoon, very bitter, needs a small glass of water afterwards, but effective; or eat a small piece of crystallised ginger. Remedy from Poland [Natural History Museum, London, May 2003].
