Hoary cress

0391. According to my mother, Mrs Anne Wilks (b.1918), of Whitstable, Kent:
Thanet weed (now hoary cress) was said to have been brought to Thanet during the 1914-8 war to feed army horses; it came with hay [Upminster, Essex, April 2011].
