Christmas tree, Nantwich

Christmas tree in St Mary’s Church, Nantwich, Cheshire, 27 January 2024.  According to a welcomer at the church it will be removed after Sunday the 28th.  When it was pointed out to her that the tree was placed in a milk churn she replied that she hadn’t noticed this, so she didn’t think it significant.  Whether it is significant or no, it obviously shows how the surrounding countryside is an important area for dairy farming (and particularly cheese production).
