Festival of Flowers and Vestments

Posted on by royvickery |

St Mary’s Bourne Street, an Anglo-Catholic church, ‘looking for the reunion of the Church of England with the Roman Catholic Church, and influenced by her in music, liturgy and aesthetics’, is holding a Flowers and Vestments Festival from 21-25 May 2024, as part of its celebrations to mark its 150th anniversary.

St Mary’s owns an impressive collection of vestments dating back to 1490, and a selection of these is displayed, complemented by appropriate flower arrangements.
