Although the Union of European Football Associations is sometimes considered to be corrupt, and can therefore be compared with the Mafia, why does the sticker have the shape of a banana, Musa cv.?  Possibly the association between UEFA and bananas dates back to about a decade ago, when bananas were thrown on to pitches as racist actions against black players.  During the 2024 European Football Championship, which finished on 14 July, spectators were banned from bringing fruit, ‘such as apples, bananas, oranges, etc.’, into stadiums.
