On 30 June 2024 we posted a card depicting white heather, mailed during the First World War in 1917.  The card here uses the same artwork but carries a different text.  Although this card is unused it appears from its wording, ‘There are many to-day who will soon fight the foe’,  that it was produced early in the war.
