Mulberry, Morus nigra, tree in Castle Gardens, Rochester, Kent:  ‘WORKERS’ MEMORIAL TREE, This mulberry tree is dedicated to the memory of all those killed at work or who have died from work-related illnesses, 28th April 1998.  Unison, Medway Towns Local Goverment Branch.’

The original tree, enclosed within railing, is producing shoots after having had its top removed, a young tree has been planted next to it.
