Peterborough Cathedral, in Cambridgeshire, is holding its first Christmas Tree Festival from 19 November 2025 until 4 January 2026. On display are about 40 trees:
‘Each one created by local clubs, charities, and community groups. From traditional trimmings to imaginative designs, every tree tells its own story and showcases the creativity of the people of Peterborough.’
Although the trees tend to be lacking in much creativity or artistry, they are well displayed, unlike those in some other festivals, where they are crammed together to the extent that it’s difficult to appreciate individual trees.
