Users of this website are reminded that one of its aims is to collect plant-lore, mainly from Britain and Ireland, although comparative material from elsewhere, especially the English-speaking parts of the world and elsewhere in Europe, is also greatly appreciated.  Thus people are requested to contribute their memories to enable us to increase our knowledge of the distribution of plant-related  beliefs and practices 

Users are also reminded that many of the website’s articles should be regarded as works-in-progress, therefore corrections and comments are always appreciated.

The ‘Material Collected’ page contains only a selection of the material accumulated for most species, so people wanting additional material on any species are invited to contact the compiler.
