Wreath composed of artificial black poppies and black roses, one of two placed at the memorial to ‘men and women from Africa and the Caribbean who fought alongside the forces of the British Empire and her allies’ during two world wars, Windrush Square, Brixton, London Borough of Lambeth.

Of the 70 or so wreaths left at the memorial, there were two others which were not standard red poppies:  one of artificial red, white and blue flowers, and the other a handmade wreath of Peace Pledge Union white poppies and ivy.
