Capileira’s coat-of-arms

Coat-of-Arms, designed in 2009 for the village of  Capileira, in the Sierra Nevada, Granada Province, Spain, incorporating Pyrenean oak (Quercus pyrenaica), a very stylised Sierra Nevada endemic  snow star (Plantago nivalis),  and the characteristic chimneys of local houses.  Photograph taken July 2025.
