A substantial part of Dr Johnson’s mulberry (Morus nigra) tree on the Streatham Park Estate, London Borough of Wandsworth, fell in July 2017, and later the bulk of the tree was removed, leaving a stump.  Small healthy branches were observed growing from this in September 2017, and, although they have not grown a great deal, these branches still appear healthy.
