Arrangement of Easter lilies – in this case altar lilies (Zantedeschia aethiopica) –  in  Chichester Cathedral, West Sussex.

A board placed in front of the altar explains:  ‘Every week flowers contribute to the worship and life of the Cathedral, including Easter when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb.  Each lily within the arrangement in St Clement’s Chapel has been placed in memory of a loved one.  Their names are:  Wilfred & Molly Wheeler, Doris Phillips, Leslie Saunders ….’
