Flowers, mainly artificial, attached together with many ribbons to the railings of Crossbones Graveyard, Southwark, London.  The graveyard was used for the burial of paupers, including prostitutes who worked in brothels licensed  by the Bishop of Winchester.  Believed to contain some 15,000 bodies, the graveyard was closed in 1853.  Now maintained as a garden of remembrance, monthly vigils are held to commemorate ‘outcasts past and present’.
