The Friends of Tooting Common annual Pumpkin Parade (see post of 23 October) took place on Sunday 27 October.  55 pumpkins registered to be judged in three categories – most artistic, funniest and scariest; about 20 children entered each of the two (under 5s and over 5s) homemade fancy dress competitions, and it is estimated that 200 people in all attended.
