Wreath placed by the Burns Club of London at the base of a statue of the Scottish poet Robert Burns in Embankment Gardens, Westminster for Burns Night, 25 January, 2022. Unusually the wreath contains no red roses, in reference to Burns’ poem ‘My love is like a red, red rose’, or the Eryngium which is often used as ‘Scottish thistle’ in wreaths.
Photographed 28 January 2022.
