Replica of the strands of orange blossom worn instead of a tiara by Princess Mary, daughter of King George V at her marriage to Viscount Henry Lascelles, at Westminster Abbey, on 28 February 1922. Displayed in Harewood House, home of the Lascelles family, North Yorkshire.
The Princess’s train was decorated with symbols of parts of the Empire: lotus for India, maple for Canada, wattle for Australia, and fern for New Zealand.
