2023 got off to a quiet start, with only three items of information being received from two contributors (Jane Lawson and Caroline Ware, both long-term supporters of the project).  The Archive now contains 9,153 items from 3,166 contributors.

Two New Year Wild Flower walks were led; since these have been happening since 2012 perhaps they should now be considered to be a traditional custom.  Visits were paid to the Whittlesea Straw Bear Festival, Apple Wassailing in Gunnersbury Park, and on 30 January a visit was made to central London to see flowers left on various memorials.
