September was a quiet month with only six items of information being received from six contributors, bringing the totals to 8939 items from 3016 contributors.

Only one query was received via the website, and although this received a prompt and full answer the enquirer did not acknowledge it, so we don’t know whether or not she found it useful.

Visits were paid to Lichfield for Samuel Johnson’s birthday celebrations, and to the Malvern Autumn Show for the Giant Vegetables Championship.
