In May a contributor to Friends of Woolwich Common Facebook wrote: ‘Every time I see a buttercup I think of our childhood memories and what we tell young children too; if your chin reflects yellow [when a flower is placed under it] it means you’re telling fibs.’ This attracted several comments from people who said no, the reflection means that you like butter.
Has anyone else heard of the idea that a yellow reflection indicates fibbing; please send any comments to vickery330@btinternet.com
