According to a report in New Blackmore Vale magazine of 16 February 2024, the Dorset recycling company Eco Sustainable Solutions has raised £57,788 for three local charities, by recycling 4,400 Christmas trees.  The recycled trees were converted into about 36 cubic metres – ‘around 720 wheelbarrow loads’ – of woodland mulch.
