The annual ceremony to cut a sprig of flowering Holy Thorn, Crataegus monogyna ‘Biflora’, from a tree in St John the Baptist’s churchyard, in Glastonbury, Somerset, for sending to the monarch, took place on the morning of Wednesday 18 December 2024.
