An analysis of unsuccessful searches of this site reveals that many are unsuccessful because a plant-name, particularly a scientific name, has been misspelt (for example Kalenchoe instead of Kalanchoe).  If you fail to get a result please check to make sure that you’ve spelt things correctly.  But remember most of the material here relates to northern Europe, especially Britain and Ireland, so queries about exotic plants not native to, or cultivated in, northern Europe are less likely to be successful.  And remember that plant-lore from any part of the world is gratefully received.
