Madder Mill Molly and Pagan Futurefests held a ‘Family Friendly Traditional Wassail’ in the grounds of the Court, Beddington Park, London Borough of Sutton, on the afternoon of Saturday 21 February 2026.  Although advertised as family friendly, very few families or children were present.  Approximately 60 people participated, many of them apparently practising pagans.  After a Pagan Tree Blessing, which seemed to be derived from Druid ceremonies, participants were asked to place pieces of toast on the branches of apple trees.  Judging by the amount of toast left at the end of the  ceremony it seems that the organisers had expected a greater turnout.
