Clothworkers’ coat-of-arms

Coat-of-arms of the Worshipful Company of Clothworkers, incorporating a stylised fuller’s teasel (Dipsacus sativus), as depicted in a window in St Olave’s Hart Street, City of London.  Clothworkers finished woven woollen cloth, a process which included raising the nap using fuller’s teasels.

Photographed January 2026; thanks to Phillip Dawson, Rector of St Olave’s who brought this to our attention.
