Flowers placed at the base of memorial unveiled on 9 May 1999 to commemorate the estimated 27 million Russians who died in World War II.  Since its unveiling ceremonies have been held at the memorial on Holocaust Memorial Day in January, [Russian] Victory Day on 9 May, and Remembrance Sunday in November, each year, Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park, London Borough of Southwark.
