Jane writes:

‘Earlier today we went for a circular walk along the North Downs Way, starting at the Coldrum Neolithic long barrow. At the finish we saw a group of 10 or so people dressed mostly in green.  I chatted  to one and she told me they were Druids gathered to celebrate Equinox. (Two days early,  but I suppose Monday isn’t a good day for working people).  She said they gather to ask for peace, and give flowers to any who attend.  They seemed a lovely lot, very “green” and trying to be true to the natural world.’
