On Sunday 20 March 2022 Druids held their annual Spring Equinox ceremony at Tower Hill, London, starting at 12 noon and continuing for about 45 minutes.  About 30 white-robed Druids, mostly women, were present, as were a number of intrusive photographers.

The ceremony included the scattering of seeds – a mixture of flax (Linum usitatissimum), pumpkin (Cucurbita sp.) and sunflower (Helianthus annuus), presumably bought from a health-food shop.  It is said that the scattering of seeds is performed to encourage a ‘fruitful year ahead’.
